GREK 1120 - Greek II
Assignments and Due Dates
There will be a weekly Test and a Study Report on the week's topics, usually due 9am Monday of the following week. Each Test may be taken four times, up until its due date; the highest score will count towards the course grade.
There will also be a weekly Discussion Board, with a Thread to be posted by 9am Friday of the week of the Module, and replies to all your classmates' threads to be posted by 9am of the Monday following the week of the Module.
NOTE - this semester's Greek class will probably have fewer students in it than GREK 1110 last semester. At the time of editing this webpage I do not know how many students will be in the class. The class will run, even if there is only one student in it.
If there is only one student in the class, you will still need to post a Thread every week, and I will post a Reply to it.
If there are two students in the class, you will both need to post a Thread every week, and to post a reply to the other's Thread. I may still take part in the Discussions.
If there are three or more students in the class, you will all need to post a Thread every week, and to post Replies to each others' Threads. You will need to be prompt with posting Threads, so that your classmates have time to think about their replies.
I may change the Grading Rubric for Discussion Boards slightly to take into account the number of possible replies, but the total points per Discussion Board will stay the same. If some student does not post a Thread by the due date, the other students will be awarded grade points to make up for the missed opportunity to reply.
The Study Reports are in the form of an MS Word document (.doc file) for students to download, fill in during the week, save, and submit to Canvas at the end of the week.
If you are unable to work with .doc files, please contact the Instructor to arrange for an alternate format for the file.
