For calculating the length of a Paper or Essay, I use a standard 8.5 x 11 inch page, with 0.7 inch margins, Times New Roman font, 12 point size, single-spaced.
This is about 1,000 words per page.
Please do not try to pad a paper by using wide margins, double spacing, or a large font.
Before submitting the Paper, Students should proof-read it carefully, and check it for grammar and style. Check with the Writing Lab at ENMU if in doubt.
You will need to plan ahead and allow yourself time to make corrections, if needed, before the due date.
