Objectives for the week
- Name the cases of a Latin noun and identify the basic uses or grammatical functions of each case in a sentence
- Form the base of any noun
- Recognize, form, and translate first declension nouns and adjectives
- Explain what is meant by the gender of a noun
- State the rules for adjective/noun agreement and verb/subject agreement
- Describe the usual positioning of an adjective
- Define the terms "declension" and "syntax"
